by dp123, 4 years agoThis extension is not bad, it has protected me from many trackers and viruses, but I would like to know why, when I arrive on a page or a website, the square at the top of the extension icon is red for a second or less, and then turns grey again sometimes? Does this mean that there is a virus on the page? Because when I click on the extension, no virus seems to be detected. Is this a bug? A false positive? Or is there really a virus? I'm quite confused by this detail, that's what pushed me to write this review and my my four-star rating.
Edit: 2/04 Thank you for your answer! I went to the website in question.

I understand your concern, and that does seem like a small visual bug.
From the details provided here I don't have reason to believe you have a virus.
We would be interested in taking a look at the bug though. If you have time please visit support.malwarebytes.com and submit a ticket with a screenshot and steps to recreate this bug.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13888099, 25 days agoIt's handy sometimes, but lately it's been far more annoying than helpful. It does this thing to prevent clipboard hijacking where it gives a popup whenever I copy something, and then prepends "[SUSPICIOUS CONTENT]" to the start of the clipboard, and I do a lot of copy-pasting; so the only thing hijacking my clipboard is this extension.
I removed its clipboard permission to stop this, and now once or twice a day it will hijack my browsing session (usually in the middle of watching a video) to open a new tab and ask for permission back.Developer response
posted 25 days agoThat is indeed annoying, we are aware of the bug and are working on a fix (it shouldn't be asked again like that). - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16215098, a month ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18971740, 2 months agomb browser guard after latest update, does not keep saving the 3 tabs (ads, malware and scams) in the tab current website..uninstall or clear cache doesn't fix it. Except this, it doesn't recognize my premium subscription (device security is installed but it says upgrade to premium)

- Rated 3 out of 5by Greenstack, 2 months agoI love the privacy and security options it gives, but any site that uses ReCaptcha fails to let me log in because the plugin disables and blocks it, so I need to disable the ads/trackers setting for those sites.
