In the past I've rated this proxy as a 5 star, now it's the worst of the worst. Proxy now reports who you are!!! WTF?

I think that's likely to be due to your proxy server rather than the addon.

Inadequate features, thus unusable – only allows configuring one protocol (breaks mixed content and redirects) and does not support localhost (prevents usage with SSH tunnels)

It does support localhost, and the configured proxy is used for all protocols.
